Guess What?!?!?

By looking at the pictures below...can you guess the news?

I'll give you some clues:
*They are ALL eating well! We nursed again today and they ALL did beautifully!
*They are ALL maintaining their body temperatures in open cribs!
*They are ALL increasing their weight!
*They have ALL passed their car seat test!
*They have ALL passed their hearing screening!

Answer: They are ALL coming home tomorrow! Can you believe it?

We are incredibly excited and a lil' nervous too! They are ALL coming home at once! I asked the nurse if she knew when Avery might be coming home when I got to the hospital today. She told me that they all might be going home tomorrow!! We had no idea! We expected them to come home one at a time, but they are ALL ready! We are so blessed with 3 lil' healthy angels!

I can't wait...our family is all going to be home together for the first time! We are going to be incredibly busy! I know "Mimi" is packing her bags tonight...and "Grammy" will either do the same or, hopefully, follow suit REAL soon!! Mommy and Daddy are going to need a lot of help!

Just to let you know...we want to share them with all of you as soon as we can, but doctor's orders say we need to wait! Being preemies...they have no immune system and can get sick very easily! So, we will have to hold off on visitors for awhile! It will be hard, but we can't risk getting these lil' munchkins sick! We will definitely share when the time is right!

Needless to say...I will TRY to update with pictures as often as I can, but it's going to be hectic for awhile! I'll do my best though! I love sharing with you all!

Much love,
Bryan, Dana, Avery, Rylie, and Korynne

FYI...Here are their current weights:
Avery Grace 4 lbs. 7.1 oz.'s
Rylie Hope 4 lbs. 9.9 oz.'s
Korynne Faith 4 lbs. 3.5 oz.'s

**Oh, we got their Social Security cards today...they are so cute! Have you ever heard that before? ...an SS card being "cute"!!

All in OPEN Cribs!!

Yea! Korynne made it to her open crib today!

...as did lil' Rylie Hope!

Here is Rylie taking her "car seat" test! They all have to be in the car seat for 30 minutes while maintaining their heart rate!

Here is Avery Grace taking the same test! We'll have to put blankets on either side and a diaper in the front so she will not get swallowed up by the seat! She is still so tiny!

Still Lookin' Good!

We had a great visit today! The girls are progressing each time we see them! We attempted nursing for the first time and they ALL did a great job! What a relief! We are going to practice again tomorrow, but they don't seem to need the practice! They know exactly what to do! God sure planned it all to a "T"...He didn't leave out any details!

Avery moved to an open crib today! For those of you that aren't sure what I'm talking about...she moved to a regular crib that you see newborns in when you visit the hospital! This means she is even closer to coming home! She is still eating 38 mls each feeding, but she usually eats more! She is NEVER in a hurry though! Whoever feeds her can't rush her...patience is the key!

Rylie is right behind her! She is regulating her body temperature well enough that she might be in an open crib tomorrow! She is eating 37 mls...which is right behind her sister Avery! The only thing different is that it takes her NO time! When I fed her today, it took her less than 10 minutes to finish her bottle!

Korynne isn't too far behind her sisters either! She is slowly sneaking up on them! Her feedings are now at 36 mls...it takes her awhile, but she finishes it all...and MORE! She is a good burper too! Daddy was feeding her today and she let out a HUGE BURP! It sounded like she was growling at us...we all couldn't stop laughing!! As far as her body temperature goes...she is right behind Rylie! She should be in an open crib in the next day or two! Yippee!

The girls are all gaining weight again. They are all at their birth weight...or at least REAL close!
Avery 4 lbs. 5.8 oz.'s
Rylie 4lbs. 8.5 oz.'s
Korynne 4lbs. 3.4 oz.'s

Thank you all for your continued prayers! We know HE listens...we have 3 little miracles to prove it!

Love,
Bryan, Dana, Korynne, Rylie, and Avery Marquart (WOW! This is our family!)

How Exciting!

Well, the girls are ALL doing wonderful! We are going to the hospital daily to see them, hold them, feed them, change them...everything we can do, but we can't have them at home just yet! Avery Grace is doing so well! She is eating A LOT...she is required to eat 39 mls each feeding, but is exceeding that by FAR!! She is still in an isolette (incubator), but should move to an open bassinet tomorrow! She is expected to come home by the end of the week! We are so excited!

Rylie and Korynne are eating from the bottle too! Rylie is at 18mls and Korynne is at 17 mls! Rylie drinks hers in less than a minute...she does so well! Korynne just takes her time, but she eats it all! They are going up on their "amounts" daily! They should both get their IV's out soon...they won't need them anymore since they are getting enough through the bottle feedings!

They are all developing their own lil' personalities! It's so funny how you just know them so quickly...it's hard to believe a 6 day old baby can have a personality, but it's true! Avery is very laid back...she is eating so much more than the others, but boy does she take her time! She likes to sleep during her feedings! Like I said earlier...it takes no time for Rylie to get through her bottle! She seems to be our lil' firecracker...she is always alert...making faces...just precious! And our sweet lil' Korynne! She seems to be our lil' dainty one! She is smaller than the other two...she takes her precious time getting through her bottle and she is always looking around and checking everything out!

They are all little miracles of God! Daddy and I are so blessed! We can't get enough of them! We know three lil' girls is A LOT, but we wouldn't change it for the world!

They have all lost some weight since birth, but all are gaining back! Here are their weights today:
Korynne 4lbs 0.3oz's
Rylie 4lbs 6.4oz's
Avery 4lbs. 4.4oz's

Here I am on THE DAY!

For those of you that hadn't seen me at the end of my pregnancy...HERE I am! You can't miss me! We made it 35 weeks...what a blessing! Aside from a few little bumps along the way...we had a great pregnancy!! Everything went so well!!
I really didn't realize how big I had actually gotten until AFTER I had the girls! Bryan and I were watching one of the videos he took of the nurse monitoring the babies in the hospital and I said, "Oh my GOSH!! I was huge!" He said, "Yeah, you had gotten pretty big, but I didn't think I would say anything!!" What a good (and smart) husband!
My tummy was pretty big, but it was filled with the 3 most beautiful and healthy baby girls on the planet!

They Are HERE!!!

The Marquart girls were born on Wednesday evening!
Avery Grace arrived at 9:47 PM and Rylie Hope was less than a minute behind her. Korynne Faith joined us shortly after at 9:48 PM. They weighed 4.7, 4.9, and 4.3...all pretty big for triplets!

The rushed them off to stablize them all before we could get a good look at them! They brought Avery back in shortly after because she was doing so well! Rylie and Korynne needed a little more assistance with breathing. They are ALL doing well now!

As of this morning, Avery is in Level 2 NICU and is taking the bottle now. She is very advanced! It didn't take her long to figure out how to suck, swallow, and breath all at the same time! It sounds funny, but they have to learn how to do that!

Rylie and Korynne are both in Level 3 right now, but will move to Level 2 shortly! They are just waiting for space...they're ready though! They both needed a little assistance with breathing in the beginning, but are now breathing on their own! They are still being fed through an IV...hopefully it won't be long til they try to feed them with a bottle.

Not sure how long they will be here, but we are just so grateful they are ALL doing so well! Praise Him!!
