Wow...My Life is Forever Changed!

Goodness, my life is forever changed! It's so hard to find the time to sit down and update you all! I finally made myself sit down for a few minutes! If you guys don't get pictures today, I'll be sure and try for tomorrow! They usually don't take as long!

I had my very first Mother's Day! What a special time for me and our family!! Bryan and I watched the girls by ourselves from Saturday afternoon to Sunday evening! It was sure hectic, but we found out that we could do it (it's just a lot easier when you're not out numbered)! We got through Saturday night and we were exhausted Sunday morning! I wouldn't have traded it for the world though! We were able to be just our lil' family that morning! The girls gave me a sweet picture frame that THEY had engraved for me and a sweet card! They each wrote something special for Mommy (wink! wink!)!! Lots of joyous tears were shed...Bryan and I have wanted to be able to celebrate this special day for several years!

Well, I went back to work last Monday! It was bittersweet! I really loved going back to school and visiting with all the staff and kiddos, but I sure missed my girls! The first morning I left them I felt a little sad! I really wasn't prepared for this, but everyone asked me if it was hard leaving them...I guess they knew something I didn't! The girls have been fine here without me...Mimi and Grammy are here everyday and I have other friends/family that come over and help too! (THANKS TO YOU GUYS!!! I LOVE YA'LL AND THE GIRLS DO TOO!) Knowing that I'm leaving them in good hands sure helps! It also helps knowing that I only have through THIS Friday and I have the entire summer with the girls!

This weekend Bryan and I were able to try to watch the girls by ourselves over night again! It was difficult, as I'm sure it will be for awhile, but it was easier than the last time we tried! Hopefully, we'll be better and better as time goes on! It sure feels good to know that, TOGETHER,we are equipped enough to take care of our precious angels!

We also went to the doctor today! The girls had to get their first rounds of vaccines! I surely wasn't prepared for this! They each got FOUR shots! Brave lil' Korynne went first and did so well! She screamed soooo loud, but Daddy comforted her and she soon closed her eyes and fell asleep! Rylie was second and she screamed a bit louder and cried a lil' longer...THEN Avery went last and BOY did she scream! It took Mommy a few minutes to calm her down! They all were fast asleep when we left! Thank goodness!

The doctor said that they might experience a little discomfort and possibly fever today and tomorrow. I wasn't sure exactly what that entailed until this evening. All three of them seemed to start feeling bad around dinner time! We were all holding the girls while Daddy ran to the store to get some Tylenol. I felt so bad...I'm usually able to comfort them, but they needed something a little more potent than Mommy's arms this time. They are all fast asleep at this time...please pray for their comfort tomorrow (not to mention Mimi and Grammy who will be with them all day)!

Now for the weigh in! We all predicted their weights before we went to the doctor and NONE of us were even close! They all gained a lot and grew taller...the doctor says they look good on the growth chart...especially for preemies!
Korynne weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz's
Rylie weighed 8 lbs. 10 oz's
Avery weighed 9 lbs. 3 oz's (None of us were expecting that!)

The doctor is so pleased with the girls and their development! We have God to thank for that! Thank you all for your continued prayers! I feel the reason they have been doing so good from the time they began growing in my tummy until now is because you all have prayed and prayed and prayed (I also think that is why we were blessed with three kiddos too)!

Love to you all!!
Bryan, Dana, Avery, Rylie, and Korynne
